Background information for applications

Subscriptions for membership are due on January 1st of each year and membership will normally run until December 31st of that same year.

Members joining much later in the year but before October 1st will be entitled to receive all the back copies of the journal for that year. Members joining from October 1st onwards will not need to renew their subscription until December 31st of the following year but they will not be entitled to receive copies of the journal for that year in which they have just joined.

If you live in a EU country please pay by Euro cheque in Pounds Sterling. If you live in a non-EU country please convert our subscription charge into your own local currency equivalent and pay by cheque. Please send such cheque payments to:

Alternatively, we now have an arrangement with our bank whereby UK members only can set up a standing order with their own bank in order to pay their subscription every year automatically. The GSA's bank is the:
