In our seventh annual conference CRONEM and VISOR want to explore a number of overlapping themes arising from the relationship between global migration and cultural diversity through different disciplinary understandings of the links between religion, society, policy and politics.

Confirmed speakers:
Thomas Blom Hansen, Reliance-Dhirubhai Ambani Professor in South Asian Studies and Professor in Anthropology, Stanford University
Andrew Geddes, Professor of Politics, University of Sheffield
• Robert Jackson, Professor of Education, University of Warwick / Professor of Religious Diversity and Education, European Wergeland Centre, Oslo
Manuel Vásquez, Associate Professor, Religious Studies Department, University of Florida
Kim Knott, AHRC Programme Director: Diasporas, Migration and Identities, University of Leeds, will be also leading a discussion around the contribution to our understanding of global migration made by this trans-disciplinary research programme.
